Sitting Pretty Furniture Design & Making Exhibition

Sitting Pretty is a showcase of work of past and present students of Dun Laoghaire Further Education Institute’s Furniture Design & Making course. The exhibition is currently running in the impressive Lexicon Library in Dun Laoghaire and continues until June 23rd.

The show was officially opened on May 23 by a Cathaoirleach Ossian Smyth, and celebrates 10 years of furniture making and musical instrument making and design at DFEI. It is well worth a visit to see how wood has been transformed into stunning artefacts.
