Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board actively lead in the provision of high-quality education and training. With this vision in mind, DDLETB recently ran a Teacher Induction Workshop at our head office in Tuansgate.
The workshop was addressed by Adrian P. Flynn, director of schools at DDLETB. 53 teachers attended from across DDLETB second level schools, including many newly qualified teachers. New educators who have recently joined us in DDLETB engaged in discussions around becoming a teacher, best practice in the classroom and the benefits of being part of an innovative, energetic and dynamic learning organisation.
More Workshop Opportunities For Teachers
Staff development and effective communication and collaboration are an important part of our strategy. We want to ensure that we meet the needs of all members of our learning community, in an innovative and creative manner. This series of ‘Teacher Induction’ events bring experienced and new DDLETB teachers together to share great ideas and innovative practice.
If you missed the first workshop and you’re passionate about teaching and learning, you can join us at our next workshop on Thursday 8th November.
This 2nd workshop will look at a variety of teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and curriculum developments. For more information contact Sam Conroy.
