Fingal Adult Education / North East DDLETB Adult Education Service

We offer full time courses under VTOS and part time courses under BTEI. There are also some fee-paying childcare courses suitable for those already working in the childcare sector. Courses are offered during the day and evening. Childcare assistance is available under the CETS scheme. Literacy, ESOL and Community Education courses are offered on a part time basis.
 

VTOS full time courses are free to those that are in receipt of a social welfare payment for 6 months or more immediately prior to starting the course. BTEI part time courses are available to those in receipt of a social welfare payment and/or have a current medical card and/or are an early school leaver. Literacy, ESOL and Community Education courses are offered are free. There are fee-paying childcare QQI Level 5 and 6 courses available details of which can be found on our website.
 

The service was established in 2006 and is one of 40 services in Ireland offering a guidance service to adults which includes impartial adult education information, one-to-one guidance and group guidance, which will help people to make informed educational, career and life choices. The guidance service is free of charge and available by appointment in the Balbriggan and/or Swords offices.
