Work Begins at Luttrellstown C.C. Campus
On Wednesday 26th September the community of Luttrellstown C.C. including students, staff, parents, Board of Management and local representatives took the short trip to Porterstown Road to take a historical photo on the site of their new school building.

Construction work has commenced and is on track for Phase I opening in September 2013. This will see the provision of 20 classrooms, 14 specialist rooms and office suites, followed quickly in Phase 2 by additional classrooms and specialist rooms, a Special Needs Unit, alongside a sports hall, basketball courts and an all-weather pitch.  The school will encourage the use of these facilities by the wider community for a variety of purposes.

The community of Luttrellstown will soon have the contemporary, state of the art school which they deserve.  Whilst on their temporary site at the former Institute of Horology, they have achieved consistently high standards, whether in the BT Young Scientist competition, National and County Awards or inter-school sports - soon they will be achieving this high standard in their new state of the art educational campus.
