St Kevin’s Community College were the first school in Dublin and the fifth school nationwide to be awarded an ISPCC Shield Flag for their preventative work on the issue of Bullying.
This has been an ongoing process for St Kevin’s CC who were actively involved in a re-evaluation of their Anti-Bullying policy and the introduction of a confidential on- line mechanism for reporting issues to the Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator. The school was commended for the “inspiring work” that took place over the past year and for completing all of the necessary criteria to qualify for the award. The school is delighted to be regarded as a protective school and a school which can set an example to other schools in area. In addition, they also ran a “Stand Up “week this year, focusing on homophobic awareness.
